Copley Instruments and Jurgensmeyer Violins, was founded in 2000 by two musicians, myself and John Copley and an engineer, Scott Jurgensmeyer. This alliance has proven to be a harmonious one. The dream began with putting affordable, top-quality musical instruments into the hands of musicians of all ages. Our company, based in Nashville, Tennessee, has grown over the years into a successful and ever expanding enterprise by providing quality products to our customers at prices all musicians can afford. Recent years have brought attention from band directors and school systems nationwide as well as major record labels, professional musicians and singer/songwriters who have switched to playing our instruments because of their excellent look, feel and sound. Living and breathing the instruments that we design and sell has brought us to the forefront of the musical instrument community and has set the standard for unprecedented – and untouchable -- customer service. We, as musicians and engineers, make sure that we are intricately involved in the design process. We know for musicians, their instrument is an extension of themselves – and must be a perfect fit for the fortunate one who plays it. We call it creating “The instrument of your dreams.” Every musician has a dream of the perfect instrument – the one that speaks to who they are. This is what makes our instruments so special…they are designed by people who know what those dreams consist of– the musicians themselves.
