1940s Epiphone Zephyr Deluxe Regent with original hardshell case. The guitar has been modded. The pickups were changed to TV Jones Paul Yandell Duo-Tron pickups, the bridge was replaced with a roller bridge to work well with the added Bigsby, the knobs have been replaced with Gibson top hat 50's style knobs, and the toggle switch has been replaced with a Gibson style three way toggle.
The guitar has a two piece spruce top and curly maple back and sides. The neck is a very comfortable soft V shape. The guitar has a lovely patina. There is plenty of fret life left on the vintage style small frets. The guitar is set up with medium low action, and the neck seems to be nice and straight. The original pick guard is included. Part of the guard is broken, but is included. There is no mounting hardware for the guard. The original tuning machines on the guitar turn freely and don't appear to have any issues. Due to the modifications, this is a player's grade guitar, but it plays well, and the pickups sound very good. The guitar also has a lovely acoustic presence when not amplified. Al in all, this guitar is in pretty good shape for being from the 40's. It has mojo for days.
